ICA (Institute for Contemporary Art) MIAMI is a contemporary-arts museum located in the Wynwood/Design District in Miami, FL. An evolution of the previous identity, the central visual element is a series of marks that imply the letter "M." Using the strokes of the character, the identity flexibly attaches other bits of content, slowly forming networks of knowledge connected by the institution. Through this graphic gesture, the identity demonstrates how the institution behaves, through intellectual growth and embracing complexity as part of its nature.
Identity development and guidelines document in collaboration with Mylinh Nguyen/Studio LHOOQ.
